Building it yourself

FluidEQ is free software under the GPL. The installer on GitHub costs nothing, and neither does building it yourself — and FluidEQ Plus, if you join it, changes nothing about what you may do with the software.

Requirements

Operating system: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. The FluidEQ Engine needs Windows 10 version 1803 or later.
Audio engine: The FluidEQ Engine, installed with FluidEQ — or Equalizer APO 1.4.2, bundled with the installer, if you choose it at setup. APO’s own setup opens visibly and asks for a reboot; the FluidEQ Engine does not.
Everything else: No account for the free app, no virtual audio device, no kernel driver. FluidEQ Plus, the gallery and the Forum need an internet connection; the EQ, the rack and your players do not.
